Before joining National Agents Alliance, Camy Smith worked for five years in the life insurance business. In July 2006, Camy became involved with NAA on a part-time basis. After attending their first NAA National Convention & seeing the opportunity for what it really was, Camy, along with Mindy, decided to commit 100% to the NAA Billion Dollar Vision.
Looking for more opportunity, money, and freedom, it wasn't long before they set their sights on building an agency. In less than a year's time, The Smith Agency was birthed, and they have not looked back since. What they value most about NAA are the leaders. "Having the opportunity to be mentored and supported by such an incredible group of leaders has been life-changing," Camy said. "It has been an amazing ride. It's incredible what you can achieve when with some guidance, and a no-quit attitude!
NAA has provided the Smith family with an opportunity to live a lifestyle that can only be described accurately with one word ? FREEDOM. "Our lives are peaceful & fulfilled," Camy explained. "We have more time, more money & more fun than we ever thought we would this early in life. Having nice things is great, but having a vision and a purpose is what life is all about."
Camy advises new agents to stay focused and committed to their goals. "If you stay focused and committed, NAA & its leaders will help you get to where you want to be," he said. "Follow your growing upline mentor," he continued. "We want the very best for you. I advise my agents to take their business seriously. There is too much at stake. Master your craft, don't just take what comes. Instead, create your own outcome. Have fun, and make money."
The Smiths plan to continue to build and grow, to help as many families as possible, and strengthen their company, colleagues and friends. "Through faith & the support of our family, we remain inspired to achieve our goals," Camy said. "God's gift to me was life. My gift to Him is what I do with it. I strive everyday to be the very best that I can. I think it is shameful that someone can settle for anything less than what they were created to be." Mindy adds, "I am so incredibly grateful for this opportunity to make a better life for our family." Our goal at this point is to stay connected to the NAA system, and give others an opportunity to change their families' legacy forever. The Smiths enjoy vacations in South Florida where they were married 10 years ago and, according to Camy, planning on LOTS of additions to the family in the years to come!
